Somebody Else is Always There First

The other day, while post-Lasikly stuck trying to read something somewhere without my reading glasses, I got to thinking, “Hey, wouldn’t it be nice if someone invented some hinged, folding reading glasses that would be really compact and you could carry around in your pocket at all times for emergencies?” Then I thought I could invent and market some if no one else had. Then I got on the web and of course, there are already tons of companies making and selling this sort of thing. This website in particular has a lot of different options. I ended up ordering a few, including the lenses that come on a credit card-sized wallet card. That’s really for emergencies, since it doesn’t seem like the kind of thing you’d want to be seen “wearing” (or “using”, I guess, since you can’t really wear them). Although, who knows, tape it to your forehead and it could become the next cool fad.

Next up: A ton of movie reviews…

Latre.
