A digital picture that your humble blogger took is part of the recently released third edition of the Schmap! Denver Online Travel Guide. The Nightlife/Wine Bars section features a pic I took of the interior of the Cruise Room bar in the Oxford Hotel in downtown Denver when Shalini and Mitch were in town, and posted on Flickr. Wow, I’m famous. I think I’ve found my niche – taking photos of the insides of bars. Of course this means that I’ll have to do a lot more drinking than I currently do, but I think I can handle it. Especially if someone will pay me to do it. Please pay me to drink and take drunken pictures. Thank you.
In other alcohol-related news, Pilto’s guest blog entry from a few months ago about the future of the Funky Winkerbean comic strip, especially as it relates to Les, is turning out to be true. Drinking and hallucinations – I can’t wait for Les’s adventures in Mexico!
Pet Peeve Of The Day: Drivers who run stop signs or red lights in the early morning on the assumption that it’s okay if no one else is around to see it. Us joggers are invisible!
