Granted, I didn't really see the first two, and I was on an airplane with a toddler while trying to watch this one, but what the hey. I thought Matt seemed vaguely sad through most of the movie, even when he was punching people. Otherwise it was like most higher-end action movies, lavishly produced and slick. I think if you're looking for story and characterization in these movies, you're in the wrong part of the cineplex. He's a hero for the post-James-Bond 21st Century, or something. But he'd never stand a chance against "The Operative"... Hey, I actually saw (parts of) a movie you reviewed!
