As for myself, I'm an alien agnostic. I'm sure there is life elsewhere in the universe, and it is likely that there are things we don't know that could make it scientifically possible for them to travel here. As to whether they do, I neither believe nor disbelieve. I think Douglas Adams surmised that such sightings were kids from other planets joy-riding, picking out someone that no one would ever believe and landing their spaceship in front of them. A substitute teacher in Florida recently got fired for being a wizard, after demonstrating a simple card trick in class.
