I recently saw <em>The Golden Compass</em>, but couldn't really think of anything to say about it (other than the fact it seemed to me that it was anti-God as much as the first <em>Narnia</em> movie was pro, which is to say not much). I've got the new <em>Indiana Jones</em> sitting around but haven't gotten to watching it yet. One problem is that I spend my alone time trying to catch up with TV on the DVR, and then my together time with N watching movies we <em>both</em> want to see. So that doesn't leave much time for the explosion fests. I expect that to be rectified shortly as TV goes into reruns for the holiday season, and I actually get some vacation time where I'm not leaving home. The holidays will be filled with the sound of laser rifles in uncompressed surround sound. Sheesh, good thing I didn't post my <em>Sex and the City: The Movie</em> review.
