Just a note to point out that I’ve updated my CD List for the first time since September. You can see that, among other things, I’ve given into the hype and bought the Arctic Monkeys CD. I like their song titles.

I like their song titles
While I like that album much more than I thought I was going to, it was actually the album titles that turned me off initially–so self-consciously, um, “literate” and yet not really witty or funny.
It also seems to fit this trend of really long band names and album titles that signify nuttin’, but I’m too busy to find examples.

Yes, I’ll admit that’s a trend I’m not overly fond of. Makes it hard to catalog things, and I do love cataloging things.
