Noah didn’t wait for the rain to build the ark? Well yeah, but he had plenty of warning, from like, God. It’s not as if the government had any warning about Hurricane Katrina. Oh wait… I totally get it now. Good advice. (Here’s the larger, more legible photo.)

    That hurricanes stike the Gulf Coast regularly is not exactly a surprise. That the measures taken in New Orleans were not strong enough for the class of hurricane, was also known. It was a matter of just exactly when it would happen.

    Exactly. Though it may be lost in my sarcasm, I was trying to imply that the government should’ve listened to the advice on this sign.
