Looks like the Writers’ Strike is indeed over! Bad news indeed. My DVR is still full of stuff to watch, like that entire first season of Mad Men that I was talking about earlier. Ah well, I’m sure it will take awhile for production to get ramped up again.

Hopefully we’ll get that full 16-episode season of Lost. And I hope the writers got what they wanted.

Songs That Came Up On The iPod While Jogging:

  • “You’re All Forgiven” (Idle Wilds)
  • “Dreamland Avenue” (Bill Nelson)
  • “Set Still the Time” (Trotsky Icepick)
  • “San Francisco” (Alkaline Trio)
  • “Fuck And Run” (Liz Phair)
  • “Disturbance at the Heron House” (R.E.M.)
  • “Loveman, We Love You” (Miles Dethmuffen)

That is SO not bad news… I’m sick of “A Daily Show,” I want “THE Daily Show” back!

Okay, I’ll give you that. Stewart and Colbert really need their writers back ASAP.

A good insider description of the strike deal (and a blog with frequent posts from Letterman show writers and others from the rest of the strike) is at http://shortenurl.com/4pnuj (LateShowWritersOnStrike.com)

I’m more worried about getting the full season of Battlestar Galactica.
