About Me

Posted on | April 1, 2004 at 6:57 pm | 7 Comments

I’ve been doing this blog for a couple of months now, so it’s high time I let those of you who have never met me in RL know a little bit more about me. So here are the facts:

I’m 6′3″ tall, I weigh 165 lbs, and I’m 37 years old. I’m a Taurus.

I played football in college (wide receiver) until I injured my knee. I sell cars for a living and am a sometimes-assistant for Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo.

My favorite movie comedy is Jackass: The Movie and my favorite drama is Old School.

My main hobby is watching sports on TV, although I also like to put up drywall.

I’ve been married & divorced twice, and am currently single. I have three kids (that I know of): Angela (7), Tiffany (10), and Mark (17). I’m currently living in an apartment with my dog, Baxter (golden retriever).

My favorite musical artists are Journey and Bob Seger, though lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Norah Jones and Good Charlotte.

The last book I read was something by John Grisham. I don’t remember the title, but it was about lawyers.

I don’t believe that one can have platonic friends of the opposite sex.

I drive a Cadillac Escalade SUV, though I’ve only taken it off-road once.

My favorite movie star is Jenna Jameson.

My favorite non-sports TV shows are Yes, Dear (comedy) and CSI (drama).

People tell me I need to get organized.

My favorite beer is Miller Lite.

I would go to Church regularly if I wasn’t hungover on Sunday mornings.

I invented the Internet.

Injury nothing, it was the cigars and liquor that put an end to what would have been at best a mediocre football career.

    Well, better luck next year.

(I finally figured out why even brilliant pranksters, much less civilians like us, never come up with anything good on April the 1th – despite best intentions – turns out, it’s a French holiday…)

InfK, I’m hurt. You think I was trying to be funny? You think that exposing my life as a tragic deconstruction of an outmoded but still too prevalent archetype is supposed to be humorous?? Oh, I weep for what passes for perceived entertainment in the burrough of Los Angeles.

The Burro of Los Angeles, however, is quite entertaining: it does this cute thing with its hooves that makes it look like it’s doing math. And nothing’s more entertaining than math – except, of course, when animals do math.

It’s not entirely an April Fool – the Jenna Jameson part is 100% true.
