I was over at my sister Lori’s the other day for my dad’s birthday party. My brother-in-law Glen recently put a hanging bird feeder in a tree in their backyard. They quickly found that the squirrels would eat all the birdseed before most of the birds could get to it. So, in order to deter the squirrels, Glen affixed some nails to the top of the feeder to act as spikes. I think he also greased the tree limbs above it. So far, there haven’t been any squirrel injuries or mortalities, but they do seem to be staying away from the feeder. Hmmm, maybe there’s a marketing idea in there somewhere…

Hey - if this guy can do an online comic using only three static sets of images, I think your “Squirrel vs. Bird in…The Feeder of Doom!” idea might have some legs! (And I like “Indie Tits”: hey smutbrain it ain’t what you think…)
