Throwing Up On The Ride Of Life

Yeah, I’m still around, and I’m okay. I haven’t been posting because of some leftover depression caused by the situation in the previous post (which I did want to be on the top for awhile). And then there’s my general getting-out-of-the-daily-posting-routine issue. And lately it just feels like my brain has become soup. Not good soup either. It’s like Cream of Celery.

I’m not a big sports fan by any means, but the combined continued suckiness of the Broncos this season, along with the World Series blowout of the Rockies, has not helped my general mood. Roller coasters are not my thing.

I do want to report that I love love love my new 3G iPod nano for jogging, especially with the “fast tempo” random playlist I came up with, and the MarWare Sportsuit Convertible protection system. This morning, “Time For A Witness” by The Feelies popped up during the run. Hadn’t heard that song for a long time! That one really got my legs going and I think it propelled me to get the run done in record time (for me).

Pet Peeve Of The Day: F*cking TicketMaster! Got my ticket for the New Pornographers show at the Gothic on Monday night (only 1 ticket, since N’s not into going on a “school night”). After the various fees, the total price was almost double that of the original ticket price.

Latre.

You wanna try your pet peeve from the other side of the ticket biuying experience. Next to venue hire, ticketmaster were always our biggest expense. POO on them! From a great height!

Literally everyone I know in Denver has been depressed lately, oddly enough (one person is currently on vacation in Germany and by all reports has perked right up…) – I miss Denver so much, I can’t imagine being down while so far up!
